The main feature of the substation is to separate the systems of the domestic users from the distribution network by means of the interposition of a plate heat exchanger. This can be of gasketed or brazed plate type depending on the requirements of design and construction of substations or installations.
The regulation is made by a suitable electronic system which is able to detect the values needed in the field (temperatures, flow rates) and to command the regulation valve on the primary circuit of the substation. The parameters of the control system can be viewed and set via MODBUS protocol or via the internal functionality of the Web server type that allows remote access via a standard Internet browser.
